$99 EPC-MAG1 Traffic Counter: The $99 EPC-MAG1 Traffic Counter is different than
all of our other traffic counters in one significant way. All of our other
traffic counters use infrared beams to count pedestrians as they pass through the
entrance. The EPC-MAG1 uses magnetic sensors to count how many times the door
physically swings open.
Don't be fooled by the low cost of the EPC-MAG1. Like all of our traffic counters,
it is a state-of-the-art microprocessor-controlled traffic counter. It also has
a number of useful features.

RTC-P1 Traffic Counter: The RTC-P1 is a cost-effective retail traffic counter designed for easy
installation. The RTC-P1 is an all-in-one traffic counter, which means that the
door sensor and traffic counter are housed in a single enclosure.
The operation of the RTC-P1 is as easy as its installation. The RTC-P1 gives a
single running total. This traffic count can be reset whenever you choose
such as each day, each week, etc. This is done by activating the keypad by
inserting and turning the security key. Next, you simply choose the option to
reset the traffic count and then execute it. All of the other commands are
executed in the same manner.

If you have more than one entrance, want to store your traffic in hourly
increments, want to transmit the traffic data to your PC or POS or have
an entrance wider than 13 feet then the RTC-P3 or the EPC-REC/EPC-EMIT combo
is the way to go.

|
RTC-P3 Traffic Counter: The RTC-P3 traffic counter gives you an enormous amount of flexibility. The
RTC-P3 is a modular unit, not an all-in-one unit. This means that the traffic
counter and door sensors are housed in separate enclosures. The traffic counter
can be placed anywhere; however, it is usually placed behind the sales counter or
in the back office. The RTC-P3 can accept up to three door sensors (sold
separately - the
RTC-S2X and
RTC-S2XL , which are each connected to
the RTC-P3 with a communications cable.)
The RTC-P3 compiles and saves traffic data from the entrances in hourly
increments. It saves up to the last 250 days of traffic
|
history. The RTC-P3 can be connected to a PC, POS or any RS-232-compatible
device. The RTC-P3 transmits the traffic history in a comma-delimited format.
The standard door sensor that we use with the RTC-P3, the RTC-S2X, can sense
traffic on entrances as wide as 13 feet. We also offer the optional RTC-S2XL,
which is a long-range sensor that can be used with the RTC-P3 for entrances wider
than 13 feet. This long-range sensor is useful for wide entrances such as those
found in mall environments.

EPC-REC/EPC-EMIT Traffic Counter Combo: The EPC-REC/EPC-EMIT Traffic
Counter Combo is an infrared emitter and receiver pair, with upgrade capabilities.
If you are looking
for a cost-effective solution similar to the RTC-P1, but the advanced
functionality of the RTC-P3 at some point in the future, then this product may
best suit your needs.
You see, this product will allow the customer to obtain a single running traffic
total, like the RTC-P1. However, the customer can, at any time, upgrade by
purchasing the
EPC-MAIN, which connects to the PC and gives the customer the ability to view
and print the traffic data in any user-selectable increments (i.e., 15, 30,
60 minutes).

This product is battery-powered by default, but can also be plugged into a power
receptacle or connected to our extended-life battery pack. There are many features
in the product, such as auxilary digital and Serial outputs, hideaway modules
for more esthetically-pleasing installations and wireless options (coming soon).

EPC-MAIN Data Server: The EPC-MAIN Data Server is what allows the data
from the EPC-REC/EPC-EMIT to be transmitted to a PC. The EPC-MAIN accepts up
four EPC-REC/EPC-EMIT pedestrian counters via communications cable and up to 28
EPC-REC/EPC-EMIT traffic counters via our EPC-RF Wireless Transceiver.
The EPC-MAIN connects to a PC via a USB port and interfaces with our EPC
Software.
